IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Sterling New Life involves a residential property lease. A prospective tenant must satisfy the landlords property manager that they have the capacity to pay rent.

An affiliate of Sterling First, Rental Management Australia Pty Ltd, the property manager acting for the landlords will ask that a prospective tenant provide proof that they will be able to meet their obligations under a residential tenancy agreement from an investment of their choice. There is a wide range of investments that might be made to demonstrate this capacity.  Three specific investments have been identified, but there is an open-ended range of investments which allows the prospective tenants to indicate which investments they either have or propose to make to allow the property manager to assess whether they are satisfied that these investments provide the tenant with the capacity to pay meet their obligations under the residential tenancy agreement.

Where there is a reference to an “SNL Amount” on this website, the SNL Amount refers to the minimum amount expected to be required to obtain the property managers approval. The SNL Amount comprises an initial fee and an investment amount.   Possible investments include the Sterling Income Trust.
